But if you are indeed celebrating the birth of Christ, then your Christmas spirit need not be suspended because the day comes and goes.

As you should celebrate your own life on every day of the year along with a special recognition of your birthday, so the life of Christ can be celebrated every single day along with a special recognition at Christmas.

When the shopping is finished, the return receipts are settled and our focus is fixed on the coming New Year, we should remember that the source of the joy on Christmas day is the same as on the day after: that the Lord Jesus Christ was born.
