Frank's Final Thoughts
Finally tonight: "Frank's Final Thoughts" and why I take the opportunity of this
little segment to say the things I do.
First of all, I don't like to mince words. The airwaves are already filled with
so much empty and ridiculous rhetoric, political pandering, shameful behavior and
shameless self-promotion that it's time somebody just "told it like it
is."
I like to focus on social ills and the people and agencies most responsible for
perpetuating them. Those are the ones I hope will make you mad enough to call
someone up, vote someone out or shout someone down.
I like to stir up patriotism for the country and criticism for the people
running and shaping it. America is beautiful and its ideals noble but let's face
it -- taxes are too high, our money completely mismanaged, and government is
totally out of touch.
Most social activism has been reduced to rabble-rousing. And instead of real
action you get blowhards using platitudes to stir up trouble. I bash prime-time
sleaze TV a lot. If you like it, don't take that personally. But I'm not kidding
around -- I really think its bad for our children and us.
And speaking of children -- remember, the generation we're hurting will hurt
us back.
And often I speak of the Lord Jesus Christ. That upsets some people when I'm on
TV. They should see me when I'm off; He's all I talk about.
