Prayer in public school
These are people who prefer the spectacle of fighting for the right for
their prayers to be seen and heard by other people, rather than offered
to and answered by God.
The responsibility for the lack of prayer in school lies not in the ruling
of the court but squarely at the feet of those commanded by Christ to
pray, regardless of whether a court gives them permission.
Prayer is not a right to be granted or rescinded by a legal ruling of
the Supreme Court, but a responsibility and privilege given as a gift
from the Supreme Being.
Any Christian, anywhere and at any time can pray without hindrance and
should without hesitation. And prohibitions against praying are impossible
to enforce on those occasions when, as the Lord suggests, only you and
He know you're doing it.
Prayer is allowed in public schools and every other institution when
offered as a private petition and not a public performance.
