Pastor Frank Turner is known to millions of viewers as an Emmy winning former investigative reporter and the former anchor of Action News at 5 and Action News at 7 on Detroit’s ABC affiliate WXYZ-TV Channel 7 and for his television ministry of God’s Amazing Grace.
Frank is also known as "America's First Evangelical Anchorman," the first secular news anchor in television history to boldly proclaim the Gospel of our Savior Jesus Christ in regular commentaries during his evening newscasts!
Frank Turner Ministries is devoted to bringing deliverance, power and healing through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. As a gifted evangelist, seminar speaker, Bible teacher and author, Frank retired from his career as a news anchor in 2006 to preach and teach the gospel as a pastor, full-time.
Frank’s TV career began in 1980, when as a young college student working in a Chicago newsroom, he says he "fell in love" with television news.
A year later, a veteran News Director recognized his natural talent and Frank began reporting the news in Omaha, Nebraska. As his talents emerged, Frank’s reputation grew and his career path led him to become a seasoned broadcaster and journalist.
As an anchor and a tenacious interviewer, he always understood the power and responsibility of sitting behind the news desk.
"I loved that covering and reporting the news gave me the ability to interact with millions of people every day," Frank says. "And I loved being an advocate for, and protector of the public trust."
Frank is originally from Chicago and joined Channel 7 in October 1990 after reporting and anchoring in Omaha, Nashville, Chicago and New Orleans.
Along with two Emmys, Frank has also been honored with several other awards, including the Associated Press Broadcasters award, the Michele Clark Fellowship Award, and the New York Festivals Television Award.
Frank is also the author of the book Raised from the Dead The Personal Testimony of America's First Evangelical Anchorman.
But Frank considers his most meaningful contribution to secular television was the bold proclamation of the Gospel of our Savior Jesus Christ in regular commentaries during his 7 pm newscasts.

Nicky Turner is an awesome woman of God who manages both ministry and motherhood with love, excellence and passion for serving the Lord Jesus and faithfulness to His word.
After more than 10 years in itinerant evangelistic ministry alongside her husband Frank, Nicky has comfortably settled in to the duties of being a Pastor’s wife and assistant, Prophet of God and leader of the Believers Congregation altar ministry.
In 2000 Nicky retired from a successful insurance industry career to join her husband in building their ministry and raising their family. Her daughter Andrea has a B.A. from Kalamazoo College and a Masters Degree from Michigan State University. Her son Austin is a Lansing, Michigan Firefighter and Paramedic EMT.
As a homemaker and home-school teacher Nicky is also raising her and Frank’s 2 beautiful children together Allyson (Ally) and Rachel.
Nicky and Frank were married in 1999, one week after being baptized in the same ceremony. Within weeks they were answering their call to ministry and have been in dedicated service together ever since.
Nicky’s prophetic gift is a powerful foundational pillar of Frank Turner Ministries. Her ability to hear and clearly speak forth the word of God and to communicate His love and grace with authority and tenderness has changed lives and brought healing, deliverance and joy to everyone in our ministry family.

El and Angie Abraham have enjoyed over 35 years of ministry to the Body of Christ through teaching and serving adults, young adults, and children.
El has 40 years of experience in the auto industry, specializing in finance and engineering.
Angie holds a Masters Degree in Human Resource Training, Development and Administration. She has a 25-year background of teaching and training people in business and industry.
El and Angie have been married for 44 years and have three daughters (three sons-in-law), and seven grandchildren. They continually speak of the numerous and ongoing testimonies of God's grace working in their lives. They are truly blessed with the blessings of Abraham! Their heart’s desire is to help people reach their highest potential by believing Jesus and acting on His Word.

Michael and Yvonne Arnold have experienced the healing power and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ in a dynamic way. They realized early in their lives that they had been given a ministry of helping and serving others. They have had the privilege of teaching Sunday school, working in the church nursery, and caring for seniors in nursing homes and state hospitals.
Yvonne is a gifted artist and musician. She has studied in the field of visual arts and has played drums and percussions for church orchestras and gospel groups. She has also given her time and talents to ministering to disabled adults and working in the public school system.
Michael began to explore his love and talent for printing at an early age, and eventually managed a large Detroit area printing company. In 1996 Mike and Yvonne started their own successful printing business, which has grown to serve customers from Metropolitan Detroit and Ann Arbor to Lansing. Mike’s passion is helping and working with people to meet their needs.
Michael and Yvonne have been married 41 years. They have three sons and four grandchildren

Richard and Marilynn Shymanovitz are best known for their ministry of "helps" in church organizations. Over the past 30 years, they have served in many vital areas of church ministry, including the nursery, the ushering staff, prayer teams, and food service. Truly, Richard and Marilynn have touched hundreds of people with their love and care. Faithfulness and commitment are two strong attributes that best describe them.
After retiring from Ford Motor Company, Richard continues to use his expertise in facility construction and engineering in his consulting practice. He often travels to Mexico and Canada to work on various management projects.
Marilynn has two trades -- hair stylist and medical office assistant. Her recent job as daycare provider for her first and only grandson, Cade, is by far her favorite!
Over the years, Marilynn and Richard have experienced the power of Jesus in their lives. They often talk about their first experience of receiving God's word into their lives that they would be "fruitful," even though they had nine years of infertility. The word came to pass, and they were blessed with two children, Kristen Faith and Karl Richard. Another time, Richard was scheduled for surgery for a rotator cuff injury. Instead, he received the healing that was promised to him because of Jesus' finished work on the cross. Surgery was cancelled!
Richard and Marilynn have been married 43 years and continue to thrive in the blessings and promises and power of God.
